Refunds

Nothing is charged for anything, so there is nothing to refund. This service is in free beta and payments are off — turning them on requires two independent configuration flags, not one.

If a price is introduced later, the rule already enforced in the billing code applies: an abstained answer, a stale snapshot and thin coverage are never chargeable, and eligibility is computed from the finished answer rather than from what was asked.
